Happy Birthday Love

I can still feel you.
Hours ago we made love,
Yet you linger still.

Always here are you.
I burn with all that you are.
Your beauty unmatched.

I thank you my love.
You feed my soul, quench my thirst.
I long for nothing.

This one was written (and far better than mine) by the one I call "Honey".
Happy Birthday to you

Kathy,

This is so cool. I have a friend who writes haiku too. His are pretty dirty though. Ugh!

Sometimes I write haiku to my wife, but she does not write them back to me. I think she is intimidated by the 5-7-5 requirements or whatever. Anyway, I think it is so cool that you two write haiku to each other. Just wanted to tell you that.

Any tips on how I can get my wife to give it a try?

Duf,
I think I know who your friend is...tell him I said hi!

As for your wife, just keep writing to her. I'm sure she loves it even if it's not her thing. We all have different talents. How does she express love to you?
Food? Art? Music? Time? Money? So many ways...
